On this day in 1964 Hurricane Hilda, kills 38 in La, Miss & Ga. Today is the birthday (1880) of Damon Runyon. He was a writer. He said, “Life is tough and it’s really though when you’re stupid”. This is the day in 1970 that Janis Joplin stopped living at the age of 27. Janis said “All of a sudden, someone threw me in front of this rock and roll band. And I decided then and there that was it.
