The sign post reads 10.5.2020. If October were a beach, there would be signs that say, “Dangerous Riptides and Jellyfish”. If you like chaos, October is for you. I’m getting some laughs out of it. Several people were killed, the palace was looted and the mob of over 10,000 won. In 1864 on this day the Battle of Allatoona Pass is fought, over 1,500 were killed. This is the day in 1892 that the Dalton Gang is killed in a shoot-out in Coffeyville, Kansas during an attempted bank holdup. Finally, in 1954 Hurricane Hazel forms in the Caribbean, killing 400-1000 people in the Bahamas and Haiti. This is the birthday of the French philosopher Dennis Diderot.
