01.11.2022 is what the milepost on our journey. A brand new, never used day awaits. You decide what kind of a day it will be for you. The Universe is made of energy. We are made of energy. What we call “thinking” is the manipulation of energy. Quantum physics intrigues me. You choose the thoughts you think and project the day you want to have and that’s what you’re likely to get. Let’s see what we the Commission has given us to think on: Today is Girl Hug Boy Day (sounds like fun to me), Learn Your Name in Morse Code Day, National Human Trafficking Awareness Day, National Milk Day, Hot Toddy Day, National Step in a Puddle and Splash Your Friend Day, Secret Pal Day and Clean Off Your Desk Day and National Poetry At Work Day. Now to history: In 1693 Mt Etna in Sicily erupts with an estimated 7.4 magnitude, killing around about 60,000. In 1813 the 1st pineapples are planted in Hawaii. The pineapple is from South America. In 1922 Insulin is first used on humans to treat diabetes. On this day in 1838 the first demonstration of the telegraph was made by Samuel Morse. Today is the day that William James was born in 1842. He was a psychologist. William said, “Thoughts become perception, perception becomes reality. Alter your thoughts, alter your reality.” He and I seem to agree. William also said, “The art of being wise is the art of knowing what to overlook.” I really like this one: “Is life worth living? It all depends on the liver.” Since this is a poetry day, I’ll end with this freshly made haiku (Japanese 3line poem with 5/7/5 syllables): Today is the day, all your life has led to now, become the new you. Abide.
