We are now in the time/space of December 22nd, 2019. People all across the country are packing their cars to head to their parent’s home for the holidays. I have fond memories of those times. In 1967 “The Graduate” American starring Dustin Hoffman and Anne Bancroft, was released. I haven’t seen it in years and should watch it again. This happens to be George Eliot’s birthday and death day. She died on her birthday at the age of 61. He quotes are interesting: “It is never too late to be what you might have been.” and “What do we live for, if not to make life less difficult for each other?.” As I comb through the quotes of famous people long gone, there is a common thread. They recommend that we tread people with kindness as a means of achieving our own happiness. With that, I’ll start my day. Abide
